Mr. Kevin Lovell has been involved in music for most of his life. From an early age, he would go to his grandfather's band room and play instruments. Since deciding to pursue a degree in Instrumental Music Education from Brigham Young University, he has taught at both Springville High School and Salem Hills High School. His primary instrument is the trombone, but he will regularly play other instruments as well for fun and to improve his teaching.
I am so excited to be working at SFJHS again! I previously worked at SFJHS for 6 years, went to SFHS for 2 years, and am happy to be back in the counseling office here.
I grew up in Provo, but now call Spanish Fork home. I attended UVU and BYU, and then later got my counseling degree from Utah State. This will be my 13th year as a school counselor. I love working in schools and think I have the best job ever!
My name is Zach Reece and this is will be my second year teaching. I taught my intern year at Willowcreek Middle School teaching 8th grade. I will be teaching 9th grade World Geography and World Civilizations. I graduated from Utah Valley University in 2022 with a bachelors in US History and Social Studies composite.
Hi! My name is Garrett Rich, and I will be teaching health this school year! I love teaching and learning about health because it impacts every aspect of our lives. To me, understanding one's health is like a superpower because it allows us to live our lives to the fullest!
I am a local boy from Springville and graduated from the best high school in Nebo: Springville High School! Being raised in the area, I know how amazing it is! There are so many resources that range from outdoor activities to shopping. It has been really exciting to watch as southern Utah Valley has grown and brought in so many great people.
The FBI Salt Lake City Field Office invites all interested students enrolled in an accredited high school in Utah to attend the Teen Academy, which will be held on Friday August 4, 2023, from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. at the FBI Salt Lake City office.
The Leadership Class wants to give a huge shout-out to all those who donated to our food pantry drive! We will be able to fill over 500 kits because of all that was generously donated!
